We had the best experience on our beer tour with @budapesturbanadventures! We visited four different local craft bars and tried so many varieties of beer. We also got amazing little traditional snacks along the way. I am obsessed with beer so this was a really special experience for me. Our tour guide knew so much history about Budapest and even suggested amazing adventures to do after the tour! Do you love beer? The parliament building is behind me. We have learned a lot of history here in Budapest because unlike America it has been around for so long. Did you know this country was occupied by the Ottoman Empire for 500 years!? Only to later be taken over by nazis and USSR soldiers. The funny thing is that none of those regimes are around today, yet this beautiful city with all its history and triumph still is. Happy Valentine’s Day! We love celebrating days of love together experiencing new things. That’s why we were so excited to experience this amazing photo tour with Gabor and @budapestwalkingtour. We learned so much history and got some amazing pictures in this beautiful city. After we ate an amazing grass fed burger and drank the most delicious hot chocolate I have ever had. Overall I would say it was a perfect day and we loved this personal and unique experience. #welovebudapest #budapestwalkingtour

It’s easy to look back on your life and not even know how you got where you are today. Time always seems to fly by when we aren’t paying attention. And that’s what life does. It become one monotonous day after the other until time has flown by and we feel like we have nothing to show for it. That’s why it’s so important we become present. You don’t have to quit that 9-5 that brings you security and or joy. You don’t have to travel full time on a whim. That isn’t what creates happiness. It’s being able to pay attention to our lives. Our spouses and children and family members. To share new and unique moments together that we can layer stitch together in my minds paat to create a life of meaning. Life isn’t about what we have it’s about who we have and the experiences we make with those people. To me that’s what happiness is.

Ok the doorways here are absolutely amazing! Can you blame me for having a slight door obsession now?

With all the traveling we do routine has become sacred. When your life is one giant constant change you need to be able to ground yourself. We do this with our morning routine. We usually wake up very early between 4am and 6am. We then head downstairs and have tea or coffee and get some work done. We take a nice break with a little 15minute workout and then have a nice breakfast. ⠀ •⠀ Do you have a morning routine or something that you do to ground yourself?
